Welcome back to another edition of This Week in Skinning! It’s nice to see that people aren’t slowing down much summer in regards to skinning. Typically, summer is a slow time for skinning but that doesn’t seem to be the case as the uploads keep rolling in. Hopefully we’ll have some more GUI Champs 2012 news coming up soon as we are hard at work behind the scenes getting things ready.

	Submerge FX by neone6 This is a matching cursor theme for Madcat21’s WindowBlinds skin. It’s a perfect additional to the suite!
	Alien Killer by H4RDSTYLER Nice to see an addition to the IconPackager gallery. This is a detailed set of icons made to match the WindowBlinds skin of the same name.
	NiteBar 2.0 by AvernusTriad This is a cool skin for Rainmeter for people looking for something minimal, but displays useful information.
	Phoenix 2012 by 2of3 This is a great skin, and I especially like the taskbar and titlebar design. Nice work!
	ElectroSexual by Vampothika Another addition to the ElectroSexual suite, this time for SysMetrix users. A great skin series for sure!

	Andromeda by theAVMAN This is a really slick and detailed cursor theme for CursorFX. Just download it and see.
	Fantasy by DolphinDoc A new desktop theme for DesktopX which a clean and functional design.
	Halcyon by Xiandi Wood skins can be hard to pull off, but Xiandi nailed with some beautiful textures and colors. Get WindowBlinds and get this skin!
	Digital by LightStar Digital is really nice skin more on the minimal side. The color is fantastic and is perfect for a Windows 7 desktop.
	ElectroSexual by Vampothika This could win an award for the name alone, but you would be missing out on another creative skin for WindowBlinds.

Hello everyone! April is moving fast and we’ve had a bunch of great skins come in – including some fabulous Master skins. We have also had some app updates recently too, including WindowBlinds 7.4 and the release of Acoustic Bridge 1.0.

	EurekaFX by RedneckDude This is a CursorFX theme which is part of a bigger package of other great skin. Check them out here.
	Tropico T1 by joyton Yes, a nice relaxing beach scene animated on the desktop. Approved!
	Metal Storm by AceMatrix This is an awesome IconPackager theme. Goes real well with darker themes, but can work with any.
	Tiny Earth by Whalecore So many cool ways to describe this wallpaper. Put this on your must download list.
	Compass by BoXXi The colors in this WindowBlinds skin is what really caught my eye, but of course the overall design gets a big thumbs up. Great work!

We are getting ready to close out another month and not a better way to finish it off than with a new edition of This Week in Skinning. It’s been a pretty good week for skinning as we had several Master skins released along with a bunch of other skins in the galleries.

	Vernal by Whalecore Spring wallpapers are rolling in, and here is a unique, but awesome design.
	Vespa 250 ice by madcat21 Taking inspiration from a Vespa, this WindowBlinds skin delivers on quality and detail.
	Summer Green by k10w3 Grab this download if you are looking for a refreshing skin that’s easy to work with on a daily basis.
	Recoil by MikeB314 This is the latest Master WindowBlinds skin from MikeB314 and it doesn’t disappoint. Great work!

	Parisienne by BoXXi There’s lots to like here in this DesktopX theme. You can tell lots of time and detail was put into this.
	Memory by pinchecl Another great set of icons to use in IconPackager.
	Lamby white wb by madcat21 As usual, madcat21 delivers a highly detailed and creative skin for WindowBlinds. Nice work!
	Hyperborea smx by Vampothika This is part of a set of several other skins, but this Sysmetrix skin just looks fantastic on the desktop.

	Swiss wb by madcat21 Great design and lots of detail make this a real winner. If you use WindowBlinds, come check this out.
	METROPOLIS by d4fmac Xion media player users will definitely like this skin. A minimal design that looks awesome. Great work!

Happy Friday everyone! This was a great week as we saw the first beta release of the very cool WindowFX 5, which you can get more info about here. I have been having a great time with it on my PC’s and I really like the start menu animations. Otherwise we had another good week of skins including a new Master skin from Xiandi.

	Nitro tech by Libardo You are missing out if you are not using CursorFX and downloading some of these cool cursors like this one.
	Space Invaders by Disturbedcomputer Retro gamers can rejoice with this very cool animated wallpaper. Nice work!
	Tiles 2597 by neone6 Neone6 has been doing some great work lately with skins for Tiles. Hope to see many more of these.
	Robots in love by vlad Just in time for Valentine’s Day comes a new wallpaper from vlad. Fantastic!
	Outlander by Xiandi The latest Master skin on WinCustomize with a slick style of brass and earth tones.

This has been an exciting and busy week! We have the public beta of Tiles out now, and of course we can’t forget the WC Holiday contest going on. This opens up lots of opportunities for skinners as we expect a big increase in usage of Tiles and for people looking to use different skins. Now would be a good time to learn how to skin it.

	Nocturne by amitsaran This is a matching .dream for the Nocturne WB, and it’s very subtle and looks great.

	iPLAYER by TomRichter This is a really awesome WindowBlinds skin. Perfect detail!

	Moving Wallpaper by Stardock Design One of the four new Master Dreams from SD Design. This is my personal favorite as it takes your favorite wallpapers and applies cool pan/zoom effects.
	Santa Magic by Sosiosh Is it too early for Christmas wallpapers? I say no, lets see more!
	Techno Mi by Vampothika A new WindowBlinds skin with a fun and unique design, which I expect no less from Vamp. Great job!

The end of September…..oh my! We are winding down this year awfully quickly and I hope to see some cool Halloween desktops this month. WinCustomize got a slight update this week just adding some social networking buttons and moving the upload button to a more prominent position in the navigation bar.
